Bridging and guiding parties through complex disputes

Civil and Commercial Mediation

Mediation is a cost-effective solution to resolve disputes as an alternative to the long and costly battles of litigation.

If you have a dispute with another party and want to avoid the notorious lengthy and costly battles in court then mediation could be the answer.

Bruce Bourne Associates have expert mediators for resolving disagreements and have a wealth of experience and expertise in bringing parties together.

Bruce Bourne, MRICS MCIArb, offers commercial and community mediation with a range of services including, but not limited to, valuations, employment, commercial agreements, probate, inheritance act, noise, neighbourhood, and corporate acquisition.

Why Mediation?

If you have a legal dispute with someone else, whether a family dispute, or involving a contract or consumer issue, litigation is best avoided if possible. Going to court can be prohibitively expensive, extremely stressful, and take a long time. Alternatives to going to court are negotiating a settlement – and alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.

When the mediation succeeds, and over 80% of them do, then it ends with a legally binding agreement.

When either party or the mediator is disappointed with the process then any of these parties may terminate the mediation at any time. The claimant may then proceed to assert their legal rights through the courts.
